“IMPORTANCIA DE LA INICIATIVA “MINITEATRO ITINERANTE” COMO CONSECUENCIA A LA FALTA DE ESPACIOS ARTÍSTICOS TEATRALES EN GUAYAQUIL”

Abstract

Because of the lack of theatrical spaces in Guayaquil, I´ve decided to propose the “MINITEATRO Itinerante” (itinerant Minitheater) as an initiative to follow. This thesis statement shows the importance of theater as an art, in the life of a human being, and even how it can improve your emotional and physical status. It also proves the importance of the sensibility that art develops in the thoughts and actions of an audience. The exposed ideas are based on the theories and methods of visionaries such as Konstantin Stanislasvky and Lev Vigotsky... plus the creativity an thoughts of the persons who is writing this lines! To be sure that the MINITEATRO Itinerante project is going to work and be enjoyed by the citizens of Guayaquil, I prepared some a hundred forms with twenty questions about the knowledge and apreciation of theater for a cross sample of those citizens. Their answers led me to understand that although people are not ready for social theater, they are open to receive theatral information and theatral education (PICK INFORMATION OR EDUCATION, NOT BOTH). Thus, the MINITEATRO Itinerante project turns into an emotional and conceptual learning source for those who want to participate in it and also provides actors a new place for practicing and presenting their art. After many words, the show infront of the jury that is the viewing public will close the whole concept presented on this document.
