“EVALUACIÓN DE LA TÉCNICA PORTAL ANTERO MEDIAL PARA LA PLASTIA DEL LIGAMENTO CRUZADO ANTERIOR EN RUPTURA PARCIAL O TOTAL”

Abstract

For many years the medical community has tried to achieve the best technique for the reconstruction and recovery of the anterior cruciate ligament injuries, this is why in recent decades develop of new surgical techniques have emerge in significant ways. The main objective of this work is to show that this particular surgical technique reduces complications anatomical and functional anterior cruciate ligament after partial or complete break. The main objectives for the reconstruction of the ACL are to give the stability y and give a free function for the patient to return to his normal life, Materials and Methods: An observational, analytical study was performed in 80 patients of indiscriminate sex between the ages of 18 to 60 years who came to see Dr. Salomón Zurita and his associates at the Kennedy Alborada Clinic Hospital during the period August 2015 - August 2016 was taken into account only patients who met the diagnosis of partial or complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament. They conducted two surveys orthopedic Cincinnati Modified Scale and Rating Knee Scale Tegner Lysholm before surgery and 4 weeks after surgery to assess progress and changes that surgery may have caused. Results: It is important to highlight the improvement in 47.75% of patients having an excellent rating in the aspect of overall activity level of the joint hinting they could return to normal life from hiking to climbing stairs, climb stairs and perform jumps and squats. Conclusions: The anterior medial Portal technique is beneficial and successful technique when choosing it as treatment for cruciate repair prior to have better anatomical and functional recovery of the joint ligament.
