PLAZA GASTRONÓMICA EN LA TRONCAL

Abstract

The canton La Troncal has maintained its economy based on the commercial and agricultural sphere, in such a way that, as an important step towards the Costa region of the country, it has become a benchmark image for local tourism. For this reason, and due to the informality that currently exists, the creation of a gastronomic plaza that allows people to taste typical dishes of the area in a healthy and comfortable environment is considered essential, both for the local user and for the tourist. In such a way that, the gastronomic square has the purpose of bringing aesthetic, formal and functional principles. Inside it has open spaces giving way to the interior exterior sequence, as well as spatial flexibility that is used in various ways and various uses by the community, also giving it continuity with the immediate urban context and allowing the user a visual that connects with the park and the landscape of the canton, resulting in a walkable and accessible city for the physical, social and environmental environment.
