Abstract

Houses have been evolving throughout all the centuries, becoming an important part of the history of architecture. Portoviejo for ages has developed without planning or order. Misuse of land is common and this is its biggest problem. In the same way, being the city with the highest deficit in the lack of housing. MICRO CITIES, is based on creating housing solutions for the citizens of Portoviejo, but with a different approach. Quality before quantity, referring to Art 30, 31 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, which highlights the right to adequate and decent housing for every human being.
