MERCADO DE VÍVERES PARA LA CIUDAD DE SAN FRANCISCO DE PUEBLOVIEJO, ECUADOR

Abstract

This document exposes the research and design of a food market in the city of San Francisco de Puebloviejo, in order tohelp local commerce and tourism development, since it has been witnessed that it is non-existent in the sector. Themain purpose of the project will be to create a design aimed at the needs of the city, that´s why the area in which thedesign will be projected was analyzed taking into account the environment, vulnerability, feasibility and risks that exist inthe sector. These types of projects are necessary in sectors such as the city of Puebloviejo, since they are a great commitment toeconomic, cultural and tourist growth, the same that has been overshadowed by the lack of dedicated infrastructure forthis type of activity. The investigation will determine what approach the design proposal will give, which will be alignedwith concepts of minimalist and industrial architecture, so that it is not invasive with the environment, and that itgenerates harmony with the industrial context that exists in the sector.
