IMPACTO FINANCIERO EN EL INSTITUTO SUPERIOR DE ARTE CULINARIO POR LA ACREDITACIÒN DEL SISTEMA DE EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR

Abstract

Society without education does not have the tiniest possibility of development, therefore it is vital to strengthen the social processes addressed to the educational work from the actual teaching learning process. School and Higher Education (ES – for the acronym in Spanish) imply a proposal for the education of men to become free, independent, creative, gentle, able to adapt and be able to go in accordance with the change of times and the scientific development. This work intends to study the financial impact resulting from the activities of of accreditation of the Institutions of the Higher Education System and specifically at the Institute of Culinary Arts. The main implications that the ecuadorian model of accreditation has brought to the ongoing system of the IES will be displayed through the presentations and analysis of their official financial statements. Assuring quality in education has brought to the system is a topic for which not all the institutions of Higher Education assign a budget, therefore when a process of accreditation is demanded, not all institutions are financially prepared to face the expenses generated by such processes.
